DESCRIPTION

Our two-day microsurgical root canal course offers interactive lectures and hands-on training. Participants will practice incisions, retrograde preparation, obturation and sutures on realistic 3D models. The “True Jaw” and “MicroTrainer” models allow participants to fully understand the benefits of advanced microsurgical techniques.

The course is held in Estonian, Russian or English and is supervised by Dr. Vitali Gavrilin, a specialist in root canal therapy, so that participants can enjoy the best interactive learning experience. The course is made for general dentists who want to perform endodontic surgery or for the experienced endodontic surgeon – both acquire the relevant knowledge to achieve better and more predictable results in endodontic treatment in their daily practice.

STUDY VOLUME

The two-day training consists of 16 academic hours, which are divided into two: 8 AK theory and 8 AK practice.

The training includes study materials and lunches.

Day Two: Hands-on

  • Practicing suture placement on the MicroTrainer microsurgical model
  • Performing the procedure on the TrueJaw model
  • Flap preparation • root tip resection • rretrograde preparation • retrograde filling • suture placement

When reserving a place for the training and obtaining theoretical material, 50% must be paid in advance upon registration and the rest at least 2 months before the training.

Vitali Gavrilin is a root canal treatment specialist (endodontist) who specializes in root canal treatment and microsurgical root canal treatment. He is a member of the Estonian Dental Association and the Estonian Society of Endodontists.
